They have such a wide variety of different choices the menu is excellent they have lunch specials every day of the week that are very good the best meatballs I've ever tasted the vodka sauce is to die for the only thing that's not consistent is the service if you go on the weekends during the day the young girl there with the red hair is excellent going during the week at night very slow service I don't recall her name but we had a waitress one time with blond hair and she was clearly dumb !!!! So I give it five stars for the food and -10 for the night consistency of good service

I am giving this place 3 stars because I expected better service but liked the food. Service was a 2, food was a 4. I had a family event here and everyone liked the food. They brought out several different courses for us - Italian 3 course style meal. Salad, pasta, entree. Personally I was disappointed the entrees didn't come with any vegetables or at least a side dish. That wasn't really communicated clearly to me during the booking. When I asked at the event, they claimed the pasta was the side. Food was good though, don't get me wrong. They know how to make tasty food.

Our server definitely seemed overwhelmed as she was working the entire restaurant alone (it seemed). She had our party of 20 and other guests. Even a few family members made comments that there should be two, maybe three servers for our party alone. For that reason, our lunch dragged about 3 hours for 3 courses, of which the salad was already out when we arrived. There was simply too much gap between the pasta and entree. People were growing antsy and tired.

What made it worse was that we noticed about 6 or more other employees that just didn't seem to be doing anything. Mind you, I was focused on my family party so I'm not entirely sure what their roles were. Perhaps they were kitchen help but I did happen to catch them all eating together casually while our server, by herself, was cutting our cake, which took about 20 minutes. It was just very very slow.

But there's a positive - they let us bring our own cake and offered BYOB as an option. Always good.

Overall, I didn't feel their communication was super effective. I don't blame the server for slow service but I do think the manager could have been more attentive. Nobody really checked in on us to ask how things were going. I had to seek them out at the end of the party to provide my feedback. No comps were offered and I did not ask.

Would I return? Sure. For lunch with my wife or to try their pizza. I don't hold grudges for bad experiences, especially first ones. But I do value honest feedback because it helps improve others' experiences going forward.

This used to be our favorite local pizzeria and we had be coming here to Sorrento for over 20 years  and since the previous owners ran the place. The food is good, though the service was always  bad as the staff is usually sitting around talking to each other and we shrugged off the delays, as a trade off, because the food was good and affordable.

Over the past few years, the owners have made some renovations included an addition to seat more people (though nothing spectacular) and this has always had the feel of a neighborhood pizzeria (nothing more).

Recently, with the addition of a one man band on weekend nights they have tried to give the place the feel of a restaurant which it most certainly is not.

Last week my family walked in, and despite the fact nearly every table was empty in the place, we were offered the only table (that shouldn't have even been there) directly opposite the front door (while the temperature outside, was hovering near zero) and we were advised the place is now taking reservations.

Reservations?? Really??? This is a pizzeria, not a restaurant, although I suspect the prices won't soon illustrate that.

Their so called specials are the same price of every other item on the menu. What's next,  a host in a tuxedo to seat guests? Give me a break. At any rate, we won't be coming back here. There are too many options in Westfield for good pizza and affordably priced, pasta dishes. These people need to rethink their strategy, it was fine the way it was and the minor improvements don't justify a neighborhood pizzeria requiring reservations.

This is not the Brick Oven. Alpertis or Ferraros. It's a simple basic family style pizzeria (nothing more).

I've ordered deliver many times. They are quick and the food is delicious. It always arrives hot. The staff is very easy to talk to.. ordering is easy and delivery people are very polite.

We ALWAYS order the grandma pie and I refuse to order anything else. It is delicious and huge.

The Sorrento salad is a great companion with roasted red peppers, sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella and olives. Their dressing is very good.

They also have great soup specials and I always order to enjoy for lunch the next day. I recently had the white bean and spinach and it was amazing.

For me, this is now the perfect lunch spot when on this side of town. For $6.75 from their lunch special menu I had a Chicken Caesar Salad (with anchovies at no extra charge) and a fountain drink.  Very pleasant service and plenty of free parking in their lot.  No skimping on any of the ingredients in the salad.  Can't get better than this.
